My Oliver connection
The first Oliver in my pedigree is Mary Oliver born in 1842 in Netherton, near Bedlington in Northumberland. Mary was the maternal grandmother of my own maternal grandmother Margaret Jane Webb. Mary’s father, my 3x great grandfather Andrew Oliver was born about 1817 in Hepscott Northumberland. His father was 4x great grandfather Thomas Oliver. Thomas must have been born sometime in the late 1700s, but as yet I have no documentary evidence of his birth.
