My Hedley connection

My 5x great grandmother Isabel Hedley was born in 1744 in Northumberland. I have no concrete evidence about where, but am guessing it was in or near Elsdon as she married William Thompson there in 1766. Looking at other trees including Isabel gives no clues. It seems that other researchers are also struggling to find place of birth and parents for her.
